We have provided contract services and advice in the form of management statements to a number of coppice woodlands, plantations and smaller community woods. We focus on replicating traditional woodland management techniques that align with best possible outcomes for biodiversity.
Ben has in particular a keen interest in pollarding having assisted with Oliver Rackham’s study of large herbivores in the interglacial period and the reaction of broad leaf species to browsing.
