About Acer Conservation

Established in 2006 we are a group of specialist practical conservationists working cooperatively to provide a broad range of services to wildlife habitat management.

Effectively, we work as a private ranger service providing all the similar skills and expertise as a charitable trust or local authority countryside services.

Led by Ben Poulton, each team member brings a different set of expertise, from ecological surveying to larger scale practical works.

After a degree in Environmental Chemistry and Ecology, Ben returned to agricultural college to complete a wide skill set for a career in countryside management. After 11 years working for a local authority, The Wildlife Trusts and Natural England he saw a niche to provide this service privately.

If you wish to contact Ben or have any general enquiries about us please use the form provided.
